Introduction

This Blade Runner Hopper from Rio Flies has a wide platform that makes a beautiful splat when hammering grassy banks.When Rio designed the Steel Plow for steelhead, many folks commented that it would also make a good hopper. They made a few tweaks with that feedback and downsized the offering to come up with Rio’s Blade Runner Hopper. The white poly wing is easy for the angler to see, and the thick, two-tone foam body has plenty of buoyancy to suspend your favorite dropper.
