Introduction

The Orvis SSR Disc Spey Reel – Swing, Step, Repeat – is designed to match both the two-handed fly-fishing rods of varying length and line weights, and the methodical, slowed-down pace of todays two-handed anglers. Each reel begins its life as a solid chunk of bar-stock aluminum which is then machined to tight tolerances. Critical to the SSRs design is the reels unique porting that allows for quick drainage.
