H&H Natural Muskrat Fur Patch

Introduction

Natural Muskrat Fur from Hook and Hackle comes as a patch or two of natural muskrat skin with the hair on. The guard hairs and underfur have a variety of uses in fly tying, but especially useful for dry flies because muskrats are an aquatic mammal with hair that is naturally hydrophobic.

• Color varies from light to dark
• Remove the guard hairs and blend your own dubbing with the underfur
• Approximately 4″ square on one or two patches per package
