The Duckett Fishing Black IceSpinning Rods are a series of 1-piece, tournament-grade bassspinning rods. These high-performance rod blanks use Multi-Modulus X-Helical coil construction with military-grade, low resin fiber and two layers of carbon fiber (base and external layer). Additionally, half sand blank construction provides added durability and minimizes weight, allowing the Black Ice to boast an average rod weight of 3 1/2 ounces across the entire series.

To further accentuate the high-performance blank, the Black Ice Series features proprietary KIGAN reinforced plasma-coated guides with Zirconia inserts for enhanced performance and durability. These guides also have a proprietary double flanged tip that eliminates insert loss and a double foot elevated stripper guide that adds strength and has a smoother transition for longer casts.

For comfort and sensitivity, the rods have custom split reels seat for better transmission of vibration for heightened sensitivity and hybrid EVA foam/AAA cork grips.
