Introduction

Rio’s Tapered Tarpon Leader has been designed for the ultimate in performance when tarpon fishing. Most tarpon leaders are level with a shock tippet on the front end, while these are a fully tapered leader running down to the shock tippet, which gives far better turnover and presentation than level leaders. These leaders end with a 2 foot length of shock tippet for protection.
