Introduction

The traditional summer steelhead flies offered by Aqua Flies were developed on or adapted for the fabled rivers of the Pacific Northwest, such as the Umpqua, Deschutes, and the Rogue. The Lady Caroline Spey Fly is a traditional British Spey pattern named after Caroline Elizabeth Gorden-Lennox, who lived from 1844 to 1934. This low water pattern is adopted from the original fly dressing using some more modern materials to the same alluring effect. The Aqua Flies traditional summer steelhead flies are tied on the Aqua Talon traditional black nickel, up-turned eye, salmon hook.
