Introduction

Solitude Flies Harrop’s CDC Thorax is a low riding realistic mayfly dun pattern that works especially well for picky trout as long as you can see it on the water. Rene Harrop designed this fly with a thin realistic biot body, CDC post, and a hackled wing that is cut flush with the bottom of the fly so the dun sits down in the water and the body of the mayfly silhouette can be easily seen. PMDs, Green Drakes and more are imitated by this pattern.
